This quite unique collection of notebooks is bedecked with colours of Mauritius. Elegant and easy to carry around, these notebooks are available in different sizes and will make you want to write down everything, scribble and doodle.

Learn more about the culture of Mauritius with this array of notebooks. For example, you can enter in Paul and Virginie’s world, the island’s most famous couple. These two young people grew up in Mauritius and fell in love with each other. Influenced by her mother, Virginie sailed off to France and had to leave Paul, her one true love. Unfortunately, they met again under dire circumstances as the ship carrying Virginie back to Paul sank, drowning the beautiful Mauritian girl in front of a helpless Paul. This story was written in 1788 by the French writer Jacques-Henri Bernardin de Saint-Pierre – it soon became a bestseller and was translated in many languages.

If you are more of a plant enthusiast, discover the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Garden created by Pierre Poivre in 1770 on one of our notebooks’ cover. Pierre Poivre had a passion for spices and orchards and used this specific garden as an experimental ground. He decided to gather a multitude of species from all over the world in one single place. This world-famous garden welcomes visitors from all around the world and arouses admiration from every one of them.

The famous Messageries Maritimes also have a special place in our array of notebooks. Messageries Maritimes was a French merchant shipping company; it was created by Albert Rostand and Ernest Simons in 1851 and dismantled in 1977.
