Florent Beusse started drawing from a very young age, from kindergarten. He delighted his teacher by depicting very realistic Apache Indians. During his teenage years, he recreated for his classmates the heroes of their favorite comic books. It’s thus quite naturally that he steered himself towards studies in art and communication which were recognized by an Advanced Diploma in Applied Arts from the Ecole Estienne in Paris. He then settled in Mauritius where he created ATOBA, an advertising agency which he has been managing since 1995. Florent has illustrated Le Fracas des Mélopées, a collection of poems and short stories by Laurent Dubourg published in 2012. In 2013 he published Madagascar en Deuche a traveller’s notebook – with Frédéric Hubert Berlèque (Editions Tôles ondulées).
